Linda Koast is a self-taught artist on the rise.

Linda is the first artist officially licensed to create an original painting of the three firemen raising the United States Flag at the World Trade Center disaster site at Ground Zero.

Her "lifelike" paintings and exceptional talent have become a top choice for collectors from around the world. These discriminating collectors are seeking an artist who offers "true to life" portraits, and seascapes. Linda's uncanny ability to capture the essence of actors such as Lucille Ball & company from the "I Love Lucy" Show have earned her critical acclaim.

Inspired by Norman Rockwell, Linda has a unique ultra-realism style that captures the personality and visual impression of her subjects. This talent awarded her commissioned portraits, as well as permission from Desilu too, LLC. and CBS Broadcasting, Inc. to create limited editions of "I Love Lucy." Linda is currently working on additional collections inspired by classic television shows and full length feature films.

Linda is a generous artist who donates her time and talent to many charitable causes. This past September, Linda lent her talent to The Andre Agassi Charitable Foundation’s "Grand Slam for Children" benefit in Las Vegas by donating one of her signed Ltd. Edition "I Love Lucy" giclees up for auction. www.agassifoundation.org

Many artists prefer seculsion while creating a work of art. Linda, however, much to the delight of collectors, thrives on painting before a live audience.

Ms. Koast is the first artist to be granted the rights to paint the very memorable scene of the United States flag being raised at the World Trade Center disaster site.

Rarely does an artist come along who has the passion of Linda Koast. When the United States was dealt a devastating blow by the terrible acts of September 11, 2001 Linda felt compelled to do something to help.

As an artist, she felt the best way to contribute was to use her talent and creativity to paint something which would benefit the the bereaved families of this tragedy.

A limited edition of prints will be published of this magnificent painting with all proceeds going directly to the Bravest Fund to support the families of fallen firefighters. Please email us for further information.

Artist's Notes:
This piece was a collaboration between myself and Lucille Ball's daughter, Lucie Arnaz. In this episode Lucy tells Ricky she is pregnant. In the early days of sitcoms the word 'pregnant' could not be used and would most certainly be censored by the networks. Lucy found a way around this and titled this episode 'Lucy is Enceinte' (Lucy is pregnant). I found this endearing scene to be so powerful that I was moved to paint this new piece.
