 At the McTara Gallery we are happy to provide you with a very unique look into the heart of each artist by providing "Artist Notes" with selected paintings. Imagine what it would have been like if Monet, Renoir, Picasso, Cassatt or any of the great masters had taken the time to write a brief note about his or her creation. That is exactly what our artists have done at the McTara Gallery. Each creation is special and it is our goal to bring the artist and collector closer together. A document with the Artist's Notes will be shipped with each painting. It is our firm belief that each Artist's Notes will have historical value through the decades. There will be no more guessing games. The questions of who, what and why the artist chose to paint a particular person or place will become a thing of the past. Although some paintings must be left open to interpretation, others have a fascinating story behind them. Please take the time to read over the Artist's Notes when posted we promise some fascinating stories. McTara is unique in that it offers collectible fine art prior to Gallery openings. This makes it possible for our private collectors to view works which have not yet been offered to the public. As each piece of artwork is completed by the artist, it is scanned, uploaded to our Gallery and then placed here so you, the Private Collector, in the privacy of your own home or office, are allowed an on-line first look at all new artwork.   The McTara Gallery is pleased to broker works of art for our private clients. The emphasis in dealing with such masterpieces is a matter of protecting the privacy of our clients at all times. We will be offering 18th, 19th and some 20th Century works of Fine Art as well as Antiques, Vintage Jewelry, Tiffany Lamps and Vintage Art Glass. Painting sizes are presented in inches, height preceding width. Works are sold unframed in most cases unless otherwise noted. Just send us an e-mail with the artist’s name and title of the painting you wish to purchase, or click on the purchase button next to the work. You may purchase directly from The McTara Gallery. What forms of payment do you accept? We accept wire transfer of US funds, cashier's checks, MasterCard or Visa and personal checks. What information is on the sales agreement? The sales agreement documents the buyer's intent to purchase and the gallery's intent to deliver the artwork as described in the agreement. The sales agreement contains a detailed description of the artwork being offered for sale, the purchase price, payment information, and copyright information. Who pays for shipping and insurance? Shipping arrangements vary depending on the artist's policy, size, weight, and price of the artwork. Smaller to medium size works that meet the shipping requirements of UPS or FedEx generally can be shipped within the continental US for $100 or less including insurance. Contact the gallery for details. What is your return policy? Our return policy is simple. Within 2 days of receipt of artwork, you may return the artwork and receive a full refund, less the cost of shipping and any damage to the artwork. How do I return artwork? When returning an item purchased through i-Escrow, separate return instructions may apply. When purchased directly from The McTara Gallery, simply indicate the reason for your return, and notify The McTara Gallery in writing via e-mail at info@mctaragallery.com. No returns will be accepted unless The McTara Gallery receives notice within two (2) days of your receipt of item ordered. Package the item securely and include a copy of the original packing list. Ship to the return address indicated on the packing list. For your protection, we recommend that you ship via a reputable carrier, such as UPS or Federal Express, and insure the item for the full purchase amount. If you do not have the original packing list, contact the gallery for shipping directions. We will notify you via e-mail of your refund once we have received and processed the returned item. Please note that we can refund shipping and insurance costs only if the return is a result of our error. The McTara Gallery makes no other warranties or representations regarding the items purchased via this medium. The purchaser has no right to return purchased items after two (2) days from the receipt of the items ordered. Unless the purchaser notifies The McTara Gallery as set forth above, they will be deemed to have accepted said items in the condition received without the benefit of return or refund.
